A fluid application system includes a manifold defining aninternal passageway, a plurality of nozzles connected in fluidcommunication with the internal passageway, a plurality ofelectrically actuated valves for controlling fluid flow throughthe plurality of nozzles, where each valve of the plurality ofelectrically actuated valves is connected in fluid communicationbetween the internal passageway and a corresponding one of theplurality of nozzles, and a pressure dampener connected to themanifold and configured to dampen fluctuations in fluid pressurewithin the internal passageway.
