The air purifier comprises: a housing including a bottom plate seated on a bottom thereof, a body upwardly stood on the bottom plate to have a path formed therein to vertically connect a feeding hole in a lower surface and a discharging hole in an upper surface, and a cover coupled with the rear surface of the body to open and close the path a filtering member installed in a lower region of the path of the body, and filtering foreign material including fine dust a suctioning fan installed in the path to be disposed in an upper side of the filtering member, forcibly feeding external air through the feeding hole, and discharging the air through the discharging hole and an ultraviolet lamp passing through the filtering member by the suctioning fan, and sterilizing air moving to the discharging hole by irradiating ultraviolet rays to the air. According to the present invention, the air purifier can be produced in a small size, thereby being conveniently moved and used. The air purifier not only can remove fine foreign material including dust but also can sterilize bacteria included in passing air and discharge purified air and anions. Moreover, an upper path in the air purifier is lengthily formed in a vertical direction, and an ultraviolet lamp is installed in the upper path, so air forcibly fed through a feeding hole is exposed to a large quantity of ultraviolet rays generated from the ultraviolet lamp while being moved and discharged along the upper path lengthily formed in a vertical direction.
