PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a visual field examination device capable of reducing a time required for visual field examination and acquiring an accurate examination value, its control method, and a visual field examination program.SOLUTION: There is provided a visual field examination device including: a first probability density function acquisition unit for executing a step (1) for acquiring a probability density function f (x1) for a result value x1 acquired by a first visual field examination; a stimulation threshold determination unit for executing a step (2) for setting a stimulation threshold t1 from a range of x1 so that probability density of the probability density function f (x1) is divided; an examination result acquisition unit for executing a step (3) for acquiring an examination result on whether or not a result of the t1 or more can be acquired in the first visual field examination; a second probability density function acquisition unit for executing a step (4) for acquiring a probability density function f (x2) obtained by subtracting the probability density of t1 or more, or of less than t1 in the probability density function f (x1); and a determination unit for executing a step (5) for determining whether or not a standard deviation σ of the probability density function f (x2) has become a state in which it is less than a predetermined value.
