The present invention addresses the problem of providing a liposome composition that comprises liposomes capable of releasing a nucleic acid analog antitumor agent at an excellent speed, and a method for producing the same. Provided is a liposome composition comprising liposomes, characterized by: (1) a nucleic acid analog antitumor agent being enclosed therein (2) the content of lysophospholipids in lipids constituting the liposomes being 0.01-5 mol% relative to the total amount of phospholipids other than the lysophospholipids in the lipids constituting the liposomes and (3) the ratio of the nucleic acid analog antitumor agent to the lipids is 2-10 mass%.
