PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing box in which seedlings do not fall down or tilt even if the packing box is inverted or fallen sideways and breakage of the seedlings by falling down or tilting can be prevented, and packed seedlings packed by the packing box.SOLUTION: A packing box is a rectangular parallelepiped packing box comprising a housing space capable of housing articles, placing parts on which articles to be housed in the housing space can be placed, an opening part where articles can be put in or out onto the placing parts, and an opening/closing lid capable of opening/closing the opening part, wherein a pressure piece and a support piece are provided, sandwiching the placing parts, the pressure piece is vertically arranged at the opening part side of the placing parts, the support piece is vertically arranged at the innermost side than the placing part, the pressure part and the support part face each other, sandwiching the placing parts, the pressure piece and support piece pressure-clamps the articles placed on the placing parts, and the opening/closing lid can close the opening part from outside the pressure piece.
