An intracorporeal shock wave device according to the invention disclosed herein comprises: - a catheter sized to fit within at least one of a blood vessel, graft and artificial blood vessel； - at least one balloon coupled to the catheter； - a shock wave generation source coupled to the catheter； and - a first saline opening operatively coupled to the catheter to deliver saline to a location adjacent the shock wave generation source and a second saline opening coupled to the catheter to extract saline away from the location adjacent the shock wave generation source.
