PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wrist sphygmomanometer easy to use for both of specified measurers and unspecified measurers.SOLUTION: This wrist sphygmomanometer 1 includes: a measurement section 5 measuring blood pressure values a detection section 9 detecting the posture of a measurer an operation section 13 comparing the posture detected by the detection section 9 with an ideal posture prestored in a memory 10 (an ideal posture storage means) to prepare posture information based on the comparison result and a transmission means (a segment liquid crystal panel 6 and an LED 7) transmitting the posture information to the measurer. The memory 10 (the ideal posture storage means) is provided with a first storage section 10a which stores a first fixed ideal posture corresponding to an unspecified measurer, and a second storage section 10b which stores a second ideal posture corresponding to a specified measurer.
