PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for enhancing pest control efficiency of an aerosol for outdoor flying insect pest control, which is an oily aerosol type sprayed to plant bodies or shade or its neighboring integrated space, and reducing chemical injury to plant by blending a useful assistant.SOLUTION FOR THE PROBLEM: There is provided a method for enhancing pest control efficiency of an aerosol for outdoor flying insect pest control and reducing chemical injury to plant by further blending higher fatty acid ester which is liquid at ordinary temperature and has a boiling point of 180°C or more to an aerosol stock solution in the aerosol for outdoor flying insect pest control consisted by the aerosol stock solution containing an ordinary temperature volatilizable pyrethroid insecticidal component having vapor pressure at 30°C of 2×10to 1×10mmHg and an organic solvent. The ordinary temperature volatilizable pyrethroid insecticidal component is preferably transfluthrin, metofluthrin and profluthrin, and the organic solvent is saturated aliphatic hydrocarbon having a boiling point of 160°C to 280°C.SELECTED DRAWING: None【課題】植物体もしくは物陰あるいはその近傍一体空間に噴霧する油性エアゾールタイプの屋外飛翔害虫防除用エアゾールにおいて、有用な助剤を配合することにより当該害虫防除用エアゾールの防除効力増強並びに植物に対する薬害軽減方法の提供。【課題の解決手段】３０℃における蒸気圧が２×１０－４～１×１０－２ｍｍＨｇである常温揮散性ピレスロイド系殺虫成分及び有機溶剤を含有するエアゾール原液と、噴射剤とから構成される屋外飛翔害虫防除用エアゾールにおいて、前記エアゾール原液に、更に常温液状で沸点が１８０℃以上である高級脂肪酸エステルを配合することを特徴とする屋外飛翔害虫防除用エアゾールの防除効力増強並びに植物に対する薬害軽減方法。常温揮散性ピレスロイド系殺虫成分としてはトランスフルトリン、メトフルトリン、及びプロフルトリンが好ましく、また有機溶剤としては沸点が１６０℃～２８０℃の飽和脂肪族炭化水素が好ましい。【選択図】なし
