PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pruning device preventing occurrence of branch-biting, and capable of efficiently performing pruning operation.SOLUTION: This pruning device is such that a chain saw 67 has a pulling spring 75 which supports a branch-biting preventing member 76 in a reciprocating movable manner to a pruning direction and an opposite direction thereto, on a part of a guide bar 71 which is located on the opposite pruning direction based on a chain tooth 72, and the branch-biting preventing member 76 has an insertion part 76a which has a thickness allowing the chain tooth 72 to let into between cut surfaces of a branch to be cut, and enables a cutting action of the chain teeth 72 and an action to the pruning direction of the guide bar 71 under a condition that the insertion part 76a is sandwiched between cut surfaces of a branch during cutting.COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT【課題】枝噛みの発生を防止して枝打ち作業を効率的に行うことができる枝打ち装置を提供する。【解決手段】チェーンソー67は、チェーン歯72を基準として反枝打ち方向側に位置するガイドバー71の部位には枝噛み防止部材76を枝打ち方向と反枝打ち方向へ往復移動自在に支持する引張バネ75を備える。枝噛み防止部材76は、チェーン歯72が切断している枝の切断面間に挿入可能な厚みを備えた挿入部76aを備え、挿入部76aが切断中の枝の切断面間に挟まれた状態の下でチェーン歯72の切断動作及びガイドバー71の枝打ち方向への動作が可能にされている。【選択図】図11
