PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collagen peptide powder composition which is excellent in qualities such as dissolution suitability in water, and is advantageous for compounding with foods, drinks, or cosmetics, and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: The collagen peptide powder composition obtained by vacuum-drying a solution containing collagen protein and then pulverizing the dried product, has a non-hollow structure and true density of 1.2 to 1.4 g/cm3. The collagen peptide powder composition preferably has bulk density of 0.35 to 0.55 g/cm3.
