A bone fixation system is configured to be implanted and secured to a bone so as to stabilize a bone. The bone fixation system includes an implant having a plate portion configured to be secured to a first segment of the bone by a first bone anchor, and a second segment of the bone by a second one anchor. The implant further includes a mesh portion configured to abut a third segment of the bone to prevent movement of the third segment relative to both the first segment and the second segment.
