The present invention provides methods for improving stress tolerance in plants of industrial interest by simultaneously regulating the expression of a gene encoding a C-repeat-binding factor (CBF), a gene encoding an anti-freeze protein and a gene encoding a galactinol synthase, while reducing undesirable effects associated with the expression of the desired genes.Linvention concerne des méthodes pouvant améliorer la tolérance de plantes dintérêt industriel au stress, par régulation simultanée de lexpression dun gène codant pour un facteur de transcription CBF, dun gène codant pour une protéine antigel et dun gène codant pour une galactinol synthase, et réduction concomitante des effets indésirables associés à lexpression des gènes désirés.
