PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disinfectant/antiviral member which combines deodorant properties and functions of sterilizing bacteria and deactivating viruses, with the bacteria and viruses adhered to a substrate.SOLUTION: A disinfectant/antiviral member includes a substrate, basic functional groups which are introduced into a part of the substrate and have deodorant properties and a metal complex which is fixed to the basic functional groups through an ionic bond and has disinfectant/antiviral properties. More specifically, the basic functional group having deodorant properties is a functional group consisting of an amino group and having an acidic gas adsorption capacity. The basic functional group having deodorant properties is preferably introduced by a radiation graft polymerization method.【課題】消臭性だけでなく、基体に付着した細菌を殺したりウイルスを不活化する機能を兼ね備える殺菌・抗ウイルス性部材を提供する。【解決手段】基体と、少なくとも前記基体の一部に導入された消臭性を有する塩基性官能基と、該塩基性官能基にイオン結合により固定された殺菌・抗ウイルス性を有する金属錯体と、を有することを特徴とする殺菌・抗ウイルス性部材。また、前記消臭性を有する塩基性官能基がアミノ基からなる酸性ガス吸着能を有する官能基であることを特徴とする殺菌・抗ウイルス性部材。また、前記消臭性を有する塩基性官能基が放射線グラフト重合法にて導入されることを特徴とする殺菌・抗ウイルス性部材。【選択図】なし
