PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prevention tool of climbing up of liana for reliably eliminating liana.SOLUTION: A prevention tool 10 can be positioned in a middle of a branch line W which is inclined from a ground G toward an upper part of a utility pole P. The preventive tool 10 comprises a preventive tool main body 1 and at least one or more windmills 2. The preventive tool main body 1 is positioned in a middle of the branch line W, supports the branch line W at a center, and closes both end faces. The windmill 2 has a rotating shaft 2s rotatably holding a base end part on an outer wall of the prevention tool main body 1 and fixing an impeller 2r to a leading end part of the rotating shaft 2s.
