The anvil can be pivoted toward the lower jaw to clamp the tissue. The staple cartridge is coupled to the lower jaw. The staple cartridge includes a deck, a plurality of staples, and a plurality of staple drivers. The deck faces the anvil. Staples are positioned in a plurality of staple openings formed in the deck. The staple driver is configured to feed staples from the staple opening. Each staple driver of the plurality of staple drivers includes a staple driver body.
