PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of noise in auscultation.SOLUTION: A biological sound stethoscope (1) includes a diaphragm (12) and a peripheral part (21a) surrounding the periphery of the diaphragm, and is equipped with a body part (21 and 22) for holding the diaphragm, and a cap part (30) for protecting the diaphragm, which is attached to the body part so as to come in contact with at least part of the peripheral part in auscultation.
