A one pack aqueous insecticidal architectural coating composition comprising an aqueous dispersion of polymer particles as binder and further comprising, based on the total liquid paint formulation, i) from 0.1 to 4.0 wt % insecticide； ii) from 0.5 to 6.5 wt % dibasic ester solvent wherein the insecticide is located in the polymer particles and the polymer particles are film forming at ambient temperatures.
