The present invention provides a method and system for bone structure detection. Based on the calculation and arrangement of the skeleton image information from the computed tomography, the bone mineral density distribution can be shown on the skeleton visualization. In the method, at least one bone image was selected from the skeleton image information for analysis. The bone image consists of pixels and each pixel has a value related to the bone mineral density. The inertia principal axis of the bone image was aligned with a principal axis of the Cartesian coordinate system. The Cortical bone area is intersected with at least one main plane perpendicular to the principal axis of the Cartesian coordinate system, and there are an exterior contour and an interior contour shown on each main plane. A method of bone mineral density analytic calculation will calculate the bone mineral density distribution along the exterior contour based on the pixel value within the exterior area. The bone mineral density distribution of the bone will be attained based on the pixel value calculation on each main plane. The bone mineral density distribution of the skeleton will be achieved by the assembly of each bone.本發明提供一種骨結構檢測方法與系統,係根據斷層掃描器所拍攝一生物骨骼之影像資料,進行運算處理與影像重建,可呈現該生物骨骼之骨結構參數分佈狀態。其方法之流程步驟包含在生物骨骼之影像資料中,分割出至少一骨頭進行分析,骨頭之影像由多個像素組成,各像素具有一亮度值,亮度值與骨結構參數具有正向關係。將骨頭之一慣性主軸之長軸對齊卡氏座標的一主軸。骨頭之皮質骨區域與垂直主軸之至少一主平面相交,各主平面上形成皮質骨區域之外輪廓線與內輪廓線。在主平面上之外輪廓線之內側區域進行一骨結構參數分析運算法,以計算出沿著外輪廓線上之骨結構參數分佈狀態。藉由組合各主平面之外輪廓線上之骨結構參數分佈狀態,可呈現出骨頭之骨結構參數分佈狀態,組合各骨頭之骨結構參數分佈狀態,以呈現出生物骨骼之骨結構參數分佈狀態。S1-S6‧‧‧骨結構檢測方法之流程步驟
