To provide a fishing tool capable of notifying a user of contact of a fish with a simple structure.SOLUTION: There is provided a fishing tool 1 comprising a rod 2 and a reel 3. The fishing tool comprises an opening member on which an opening 53a for guiding a fishing yarn 4 extended from a reel 3 is formed. The opening member and a tip part 2a of the rod 2 are coupled by two connection members 5, 6, and one connection member 5 is separated by prescribed force or stronger force in a gap between the opening and the tip part 2a of the rod 2.
