PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer composition comprising an olefin polymer, a bug repellent, and a bug repellent supporter and capable of giving a polymer composition fiber excellent in tensile breaking elongation and tensile breaking strength, a method for manufacturing a fiber by shaping the polymer composition, and a polymer composition fiber shaped by the manufacturing method.
SOLUTION: The polymer composition comprising the olefin polymer, the bug repellent, and the bug repellent supporter has a bug repellent content of 0.1-10 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. olefin polymer and a bug repellent supporter content of 0.1-20 pts.wt., per 100 pts.wt. polyolefin resin, and has a water content of 30-1,500 wt.ppm.
