A method for manufacturing the sleeve for the thigh prosthesis relates to the medical equipment, namely to prosthesis engineering and may be used for manufacturing the thigh prosthesis. The method comprises the putting of the internal and external polyvinyl sheathes onto the plaster model covered then with the polyvinyl sheath with the layers of the reinforcing woven tube, the cutting of the plate of polyethylene sheet (40- with the length fitting the size of the plaster model) placed then onto the lateral surface of the plaster model. The reinforcing layers of the woven hose are placed between the plate and the plaster model and soaked with binding composite followed by its polymerization. The external polyvinyl sheath is removed the distal reinforcing layers are cut transversely. The site where the plate was placed is heated the upper cut layer is unfolded outwards the lower reinforcing layers are cut and the plate is removed. At the distal end of the cut, the transverse groove is made. The unfolded edges of the reinforcing layers are heated until their softening followed by their matching according to the plaster model. The fastening elements made of Velcro strap are installed. The method improved the functional and performance properties of the thigh prosthesis for the enabled persons when the prosthesis is manufactured primarily as well as for the patients with the vascular pathology.Спосіб виготовлення приймальних гільз протезів стегна належить до медичної техніки, точніше до протезування та протезобудування, і може бути використаний при виготовленні протезів стегна.
