PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environment controlling system for plant cultivation which is capable of easily measuring the height of a plant, and utilizing a result of the measured height of the plant for controlling an environment of cultivating a plant.SOLUTION: An environment controlling system comprises: distance image acquisition means for capturing an image of a plant from above and outputs a distance image associated with distance information showing a distance from a subject including the plant whose image was captured environment adjusting means for adjusting an environment of cultivating the plant and environmental control means for detecting the height of the plant based on the distance image and controlling the environment adjusting means based on the detected height of the plant.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
