According to the present invention, there is provided a composition for improving the appearance of hair, which comprises a peptide having an amino acid sequence of WY or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt or solvate thereof as an active ingredient. The composition of the present invention can be used for improving the deterioration of the appearance of hair, and the deterioration of the appearance of hair can be caused by aging.
