PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image diagnostic apparatus which allows distribution information indicating the position of an attention section designated by a preceding diagnosis, to be used in a subsequent test.SOLUTION: The medical image diagnostic apparatus comprises a storage part, an image generation part, and a display control part. The storage part stores a distribution image which is generated in the past on the basis of the medical image of a breast acquired from an external apparatus or touch and schematically indicates the positions of one or more attention sections in the breast. The image generation part generates the medical image of the breast. The display control part causes display means to simultaneously display the distribution image and the medical image generated by the image generation part.
