The present invention relates to an oral preparation of pirfenidone with enhanced stability. More specifically, the present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising the pirfenidone having an average particle size in a specific range as an active ingredient, and a method for manufacturing an oral preparation having enhanced tablet compressibility comprising the composition. When manufacturing a unit formulation using the pharmaceutical composition comprising pirfenidone having an average particle size range according to the present invention, a high dosage of pirfenidone per unit preparation can be included due to excellent tablet compressibility due to remarkable compressibility. Thus, a high-dose preparation which is difficult to be manufactured can be manufactured to remarkably improve the low drug compliance caused by administration of pirfenidone, thereby being very useful for development of oral preparation of pirfenidone.본 발명은 타정성이 개선된 피르페니돈 경구 제제에 관한 것이다. 보다 구체적으로, 본 발명은 특정 범위의 평균 입자크기를 갖는 피르페니돈을 유효성분으로서 포함하는 약제학적 조성물, 상기 조성물을 포함하는 타정성이 개선된 경구 투여 제제의 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 평균입자크기 범위를 갖는 피르페니돈을 포함하는 약학적 조성물을 사용하여 단위제형을 제조하는 경우, 현저한 압축성으로 인한 탁월한 타정성에 의해 단위제형당 피르페니돈을 고용량으로 포함할 수 있게 하여, 종래 제조가 어려웠던 고용량의 제제를 제조할 수 있어, 피르페니돈의 투여시 야기되는 낮은 복약순응도를 탁월하게 개선시킬 수 있어 피르페니돈의 경구투여제제 개발에 있어 매우 유용하다.
