PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for disposing of a needle unit of a pen-type syringe in which only the needle unit can be disposed in the container even if the needle unit is not pushed by a lid part.SOLUTION: A container 1 for disposing of a needle unit 27 of a pen-type syringe is provided in which the needle unit 27 having a needle 25 and a needle housing 26 for surrounding a portion of the needle is attached and detached to/from a body case 30 by screws, and it is suitable for a patient to administer medicinal solution by himself/herself. The container 1 includes a rotation regulating part 23 for inserting the needle unit 27 into an insertion hole 17, rotating the body case 30 while regulating the rotation of the needle unit 27, and separating the needle unit 27 from the body case 30 while inserting the needle unit 27 into the insertion hole 17.
