The present disclosure relates to compounds that bind to IAP BIR domains, moreparticularly the BIR2 and BIR3 domains. The compounds are represented by Formula1 : (I) These compounds have been found to be useful in altering apoptotic responsesin cells which can lead to the treatment of proliferative disorders. Apoptoticpathways are known to play a critical role in the development of cancer, autoimmunedisorders and neurodegenerative diseases. A process to make the compounds ofFormula 1 is also disclosed.
