The invention relates to a medical device (200) for separating a first tissue from a second tissue. The medical device (200) comprises: a longitudinal stem part (210) a footplate part (220) extending from one end of the longitudinal stem part (210) wherein at least one fluid channel is arranged to the medical device (200) for providing a pressurized fluid for the separation of the first tis- sue from the second tissue, and wherein the medical device comprises an in- terface for coupling the medical device to a surgical instrument used in a medi- cal operation in which the first and the second tissue are separated.
