PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an animal trapping cage capable of efficiently trapping a relatively-large wild animal.SOLUTION: An animal trapping cage is provided with: a rotating shaft 8 that is horizontally arranged on a bottom side of a cage body 1 and is supported rotatably a bottom plate 9 that is attached to the rotating shaft 8 so as to form part of a bottom of the cage body 1 a rectangular frame 7 that woks as a stationary part facing a rotating tip of the bottom plate 9 when the bottom plate 9 faces a horizontal direction and a support pin 10 that is laid between the rectangular frame 7 and the bottom plate 9 and horizontally supports the bottom plate 9. When an animal rides on the bottom plate 9 and then a moment equal to or more than a prescribed value is applied to the bottom plate 9, the support pin 10 is folded, the bottom plate 9 rotates, a release string 18 passing through a lower part of the bottom plate is pulled down and thereby fall doors 2 fall, and then apertures 1a on front and rear surfaces of the cage body 1 are closed. This animal trapping cage can efficiently trap a relatively-large animal because of no threats of working in response to a small animal not to be trapped.COPYRIGHT: (C)2015,JPO&INPIT【課題】比較的大型の野生動物を効率よく捕獲できる動物捕獲用檻を提供する。【解決手段】檻本体1の底側に水平に配され、回動可能に支持される回動軸8と、檻本体1の底部の一部を形成するように回動軸8に取り付けられる底板9と、底板9が水平方向を向いたときに底板9の回動先端と対向する固定部としての矩形枠7と、矩形枠7と底板9との間に差し渡されて底板9を水平に支持する支持ピン10とを設け、底板9上に動物が乗って底板9に所定値以上のモーメントが加わったときに、支持ピン10が折れ曲がって底板9が回動し、その下方を通る解除紐18を押し下げることにより、落下扉2が落下して檻本体1の前後面の開口1aが閉じられる構成とした。この動物捕獲用檻では、捕獲対象外の小動物に対して作動するおそれがないので、比較的大型の動物を効率よく捕獲することができる。【選択図】図2
