<；P>；PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum thawing apparatus improving an energy efficiency. <；P>；SOLUTION: This vacuum thawing apparatus 1 for thawing an object F to be thawed by latent heat of steam includes a vacuum thawing chamber 2 which holds the object F to be thawed in the inside, a water storage container 31 which is arranged in the vacuum thawing chamber 2 and holds water, an electric heater 32 which heats water in the water storage container 31 to be converted to steam, a vacuum pump 41 which exhausts the inside of the vacuum thawing chamber 2, a heat exchanger tube 33 which extends to inside the water storage container 31 and below the object F to be thawed, and circulating piping 44 which connect the outlet side of the vacuum pump 41 and the heat exchanger tube 33.
