PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cell cryopreservation containers where adherence of cells to the inner wall surface of the container can be suppressed and the cells preserved in a preservation part can be tested readily.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a cell cryopreservation container comprising a preservation part capable of preserving a preservation liquid containing cells, and an inner wall surface which composes the preservation part, comprising an uneven surface having cell adhesion reduction properties on a part of the inner wall surface, and an observation part capable of observing, on the wall part, the cells which is preserved in the preservation part corresponding to at least a partial region of the inner wall surface except the uneven surface having the cell adhesion reduction properties.
