The present invention relates to a method of increasing the rate of implantation of embryos into the maternal uterus in mammals by providing the mammalian uterus with an effective amount of a beta-galactoside-binding lectin or derivatives thereof. a product comprising said lectin.MÉTODO PARA AUMENTAR A TAXA DE IMPLANTAÇçO DE EMBRIÕES NO éTERO MATERNO EM MAMÍFEROS, USO DE UMA QUANTIDADE EFICAZ DE UMA LECTINA LIGANTE DE BETA-GALACTOSÍDEO OU DERIVADOS DA MESMA, LECTINA LIGANTE DE BETA-GALACTOSÍDEO OU DERIVADOS E PRODUTO. A presente invenção refere-se a um método para aumentar a taxa de implantação de embriões no útero materno em mamíferos, por meio do fornecimento ao útero do mamífero uma quantidade eficaz de uma lectina ligante de beta-galactosídeo ou derivados da mesma, bem como a um produto compreendendo dita lectina.
