PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of cerebral infarction which can be administered to a patient even in a post-acute stage of cerebral infarction.SOLUTION: The invention provides a pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of cerebral infarction containing a thrombolytic drug and a vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) receptor signaling inhibitor. The pharmaceutical composition for the treatment of cerebral infarction of the invention may be administered to a patient after a cerebral infarction acute stage is over.
