Disclosed is a mobility device profile generation system for producing a control profile for operating a mobility device. The profile generation system comprises a memory (102), a processor (101), a display device and a human input device (104). The memory (102) is for storing profile data. The processor (101) is configured to display profile data stored in memory on the display device in the form of a graphical representation depicting a relationship between at least two variables associated with operating the mobility device. The human input device (104) adapted to allow a user to adjust interactively the graphical representation to calibrate the relationship between the at least two variables to produce a control profile that limits the range of operation of a controller of a mobility device according to the graphical representation. A method of producing the control profile for operating the mobility device is also disclosed.
