PURPOSE: A high intensity focused ultrasound apparatus to reduce adipose tissues is provided to ensure weight loss, cellulite reduction, improvement on sagging skin, deep wrinkle reduction, and body toning improvement by reducing adipose tissues on the subcutaneous tissue layer.CONSTITUTION: A method of reducing adipose tissues applies a thermotherapy effect which induces a rapid temperature rise in subcutaneous adipose tissues by using high intensity focused ultrasound(55) comprises following steps. The inner surface of a transducer is shaped aspherically to have Focal Area with 5-10&Phi for obtaining a thermotherapy effect by enlarging the focus size of the focused ultrasound transducer. The focused ultrasound generation apparatus is equipped with multiple gears inside an applicator(40) and coverts the rotary movement of a motor to a vertical movement as the speed of the motor in a drive device is reduced. The focus generation site of the transducer is controlled in the range between 10 and 20mm within the skin. The adipose tissue reduction method by the high intensity focused ultrasound and RF high frequency enables a controller(58) to operate the high intensity focused ultrasound and the RF high frequency simultaneously.
