PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packed drink containing nonpolymeric catechins at high concentrations, to which an amino acid is added so as to allow physiological effect of catechin to be exhibited and to facilitate intake of the amino acid.
SOLUTION: The packed drink contains (A) 0.06-0.5 mass% of the nonpolymeric catechins, (B) 0.01-5.0 mass% of at least one kind of amino acid selected from among L-isoleucine, L-leucine, L-valine, L-threonine, DL-methionine, L-methionine, L-histidine, L-phenylalanine, L-lysine and L-tryptophan, and (C) 0.0001-20 mass% of a sweetener, wherein (G) the gallate content of the nonpolymeric catechins is 5-55 mass%, and the pH value is from 2.5-5.1.
