PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user (subject) to select a position adjusting member of an optical unit in an ophthalmic device as he/she likes.SOLUTION: The optical unit A can be raised or lowered by operating either a rotary knob 5 or a rotary ring 10, and the rotary knob 5 and the rotary ring 10 are both made detachable, so that the user (subject) can freely select a configuration (refer to Fig.1(a)) in which the rotary knob 5 is installed while the rotary ring 10 is not or a configuration (refer to Fig.1(b)) in which the rotary ring 10 is installed while the rotary knob 5 is not. For example, when it is desired to cause vertical movement and horizontal movement of the optical unit A by a single hand at the same time, the configuration shown in Fig.1(a) is selected.
