The present invention in the preferred embodiment provides an herbal composition for treatment or prevention of neurological disorders such as epilepsy, wherein the herbal composition comprises at least a part of Blumea lacera and a part of Celosia cristata and a part of leaves of Aristolochia indica. One or more additional herbs may further be added to the said herbal composition. The mixture may be heated in a solvent and the herbal composition formed as a result may be administered in various forms.
