There is provided in a preferred embodiment a method for preparing a processedhydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) mixture, the method comprising: mixing aningredient combination comprising HPMC, alcohol, silicone urethane copolymerandsulfated polysaccharide with chlorinated water to obtain an aqueous HPMCmixtureagitating or stirring the aqueous HPMC mixture to obtain a viscous HPMCmixturehaving a viscosity at about 68 F between about 2,000 cP and about 8,000 cPandallowing the viscous HPMC mixture to settle to obtain the processed HMPCmixture.
