PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insect trap in which insects can reliably be guided to insect trap means in the inside of a main body without being confined in the vicinity of a device, while enabling attraction of the insects from a long distance even by hiding a main attractant light source in the inside of the main body.SOLUTION: An insect trap 31 includes a main body 32 having an opening 34, a main attractant light source 39 for applying light L1 to attract an insect M toward the opening 34 side, insect trap means 35 for trapping the attracted insect M, and an auxiliary attraction structure part 41. The main attractant light source 39 and the insect trap means 35 are disposed in the inside of the main body 32 in an invisible state. The auxiliary attraction structure part 41 is disposed in the outside of the opening 34 in the main body 32 in a visible state. The auxiliary attraction structure part 41 has a contrast enhancement part C1 comprising adjacent two areas R1, R2 having different optical characteristics on a surface. The auxiliary attraction structure part 41 attracts the insect M by the active or passive emission of light. The attractive force by light L2 emitted from the auxiliary attraction structure part 41 is lower than the attractive force by the light L1 emitted by the main attractant light source 39.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】主誘引光源を本体内部に隠しながらも遠距離からの昆虫の誘引を可能にしつつ、装置近傍に昆虫が留まらずに確実に本体内部の捕虫手段まで誘導できる捕虫器の提供。【解決手段】捕虫器31は、開口34を有する本体32、昆虫Mを誘引する光L1を開口34側に向けて照射する主誘引光源39、誘引された昆虫Mを捕獲する捕虫手段35、補助誘引構造部41を備える。主誘引光源39及び捕虫手段35は、本体32の内部にて視認不能な状態で配置される。補助誘引構造部41は、本体32における開口34の外側にて視認可能な状態で配置される。補助誘引構造部41は、異なった光特性を持つ隣接した2つの領域R1,R2からなるコントラスト強調部C1を表面に有する。補助誘引構造部41は、能動的または受動的な発光により昆虫Mを誘引する。補助誘引構造部41の発する光L2による誘引力は、主誘引光源39の発する光L1による誘引力よりも低い。【選択図】図4
