To provide a transplanter including a seedling conveyer extending back and forth installed ON a side of a traveling body, and a preliminary seedling stand loaded under the seedling conveyer, and set to carry out operations such as loading or taking out, without obstruction, of spare seedlings and empty box, and seedling scooping plate to the preliminary seedling stand under the seedling conveyer.
SOLUTION: The transplanter is configured as changeable in relative position between a state in which the seedling conveyer and the preliminary seedling stand under the seedling conveyer are vertically piled and with a state in which the preliminary seedling stand is shifting to the inside of the machine body against to the seedling conveyer. The transplanter is also configured to be relatively displaced in crosswise direction of the seedling conveyer and the preliminary seedling stand under the seedling conveyer by shifting the preliminary seedling stand under the seedling conveyer to the inside of the machine body against to the seedling conveyer.
