PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood pressure measuring device capable of measuring blood pressure without increasing burden on the subject.SOLUTION: The blood pressure measuring device comprises a pressurizing pump, a pressure vessel, a cuff, and a control unit. The control unit includes: an input part for inputting time information about the time at which blood pressure measurement is performed and a processing part for determining a first time at which driving of the pressurizing pump is started on the basis of the time information. The control unit causes the pressurizing pump to communicate with the pressure vessel at the first time and starts driving the pressurizing pump to thereby raise the pressure inside the pressure vessel. The control unit then causes the pressure vessel to communicate with the cuff to start air supply from the pressure vessel to the cuff, and thereafter begins blood pressure measurement.
