One disclosed embodiment of an intraocular implant includes a lens body. Thelens body comprises a diffractive optical surface (115) having diffractiveproperties which produce an interference pattern. The lens body is sized andshaped for placement in an anterior portion of a human eye. The lens body issufficiently flexible to change the shape of the diffractive optical surfacein response to ciliary muscle (60) action so that the interference pattern ismodified.
