PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel acridine-like class of compounds effective for cancer treatment. The compound of the present invention binds to HDMX, which is a p53 inhibitor, and has the ability to antagonize its activity. Once administered to cells, the compounds of the present invention bind to HDMX, thereby inducing apoptosis of cancer cells with p53. Combining this class of compounds with Nutlin-3 provides a novel approach to the treatment of cancer. FIG. 1【課題】 本発明はガンの治療に効果的な新規なアクリジン様の部類の化合物を提供することである。【解決手段】 本発明の化合物はp53抑制体であるHDMXと結合し、その活性と拮抗する効能を有する。一旦、細胞に投与されると、本発明の化合物はHDMXと結合し、それによりp53を以ってしてガン細胞のアポトーシスを誘起させる。この部類の化合物をNutlin-3と組合せることによりガンの治療に対する新規なアプローチが提供される。【図】図１
