A cartridge for use m a dispensingsystem is disclosed. The cartridge includes a bodyhaving an exterior and a plurality of bins. Aplurality of lids are movably attached to the body and areconfigured to cover a bin. A release mechanism ismovable along an axis. A plurality of latches aremovably attached to the body. Each latch isconfigured to secure the respective lid when in a firstposition and to release the respective lid when in asecond position. The release mechanism will notcause a latch to move to the second position whenthe release mechanism is moving along the axis ina first direction. The release mechanism will causea single latch to move to the second position whileleaving the remaining latches in the first positionwhen the release mechanism is moving along theaxis in a second direction.
