PURPOSE: A mixed mate tea composition containing a sweetener, and a producing method thereof are provided to reduce the unique bitter and astringent taste of mate tea.CONSTITUTION: A producing method of a mixed mate tea composition containing a sweetener comprises the following steps: drying 30-70wt% of mate and 30-70wt% of sweetener into the water content of 2-8% preprocessing the dried mate and the dried sweetener uniformly mixing 30-70wt% of pre-processed mate and 30-70wt% of pre-processed sweetener crushing the mixture into the size of 80-140 meshes and inserting the crushed mixture to a tea bag. The sweetener is selected from the group consisting of brown rice, black bean, corn silk, corn, and Polygonatum odoratum.
