The rear waist elastic area (40) has an underside portion (40B) positioned toward a crotch area (15), and the underside portion (40B) has an underside elastic area (42) positioned between lateral edges (17c) of the rear waist area (14). The underside elastic area (42) is joined with a side flap (70) so that the underside elastic area (42) and the side flap (70) are superposed on each other in plan view. The waist elastic bodies (51, 52, 53, 54) in the underside portion (40B) and leg elastic bodies (71) are superposed on each other in plan view, and the tensile stress in the underside elastic area (42) is lower than the tensile stress in the remaining portion of the rear waist elastic area (40).
