PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome a problem that chlorophyll is eluted from an indigo leaf and a tryptanthrin-containing indigo leaf extract is colored with black green when extraction of tryptanthrin is conducted by ethanol.SOLUTION: A solution containing tryptanthrin is obtained by contacting liquid shaped limonene with an indigo leaf. Contact time is preferably around 24 hours. Tryptanthrin is effectively extracted by the contact time and an obtained extract is almost colorless transparent. It is found that extremely higher bacteriostatic activity than a tryptanthrin extract by an ethanol extraction is obtained.COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT【課題】 エタノールによりトリプタンスリンの抽出を行うと、藍葉からクロロフィルが溶出してしまい、トリプタンスリン含有藍葉エキスが黒緑色に着色してしまうこと。【解決手段】 藍葉に対して、液体状のリモネンを一定時間接触させ、トリプタンスリンを含む溶液を得る。接触時間は、24時間前後が好ましい。この接触時間により効果的にトリプタンスリンが抽出されると共に得られた抽出液は略無色透明である。また、エタノール抽出によるトリプタンスリン抽出液に比べて、極めて高い静菌活性が得られることが判った。
