PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmology apparatus and corneal endothelium measurement method for automatically removing a corneal endothelium which may perform adverse effect on a result of corneal endothelium measurement, and improving accuracy and reliability of the measurement result.SOLUTION: An ophthalmology apparatus comprises: an imaging unit 5 for imaging a corneal endothelium of a subjects eye a control unit 2 for measuring the corneal endothelium on the basis of a corneal endothelium picture imaged by the imaging unit and a display unit. The control unit generates an edge picture in which a shape and magnitude of an endothelial cell are identified on the basis of the corneal endothelium picture, and generates a binary picture determines whether or not a ratio of guttata in the endothelial cell is smaller than a setting value set in advance on the basis of the edge picture and binary picture, for each endothelial cell determines that the endothelial cell is guttata, when it is determined that the ratio is equal to or larger than the setting value excludes the endothelial cell determined to be guttata and an endothelial cell adjacent to a region of the guttata performs corneal endothelium measurement by using an endothelial cell which is not excluded and makes the display unit 3 display a measurement result.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】角膜内皮の測定結果に悪影響を与える可能性がある内皮細胞を自動的に除外し、測定結果の精度及び信頼性を向上させる眼科装置及び角膜内皮の測定方法を提供する。【解決手段】被検眼の角膜内皮を撮影する撮像部5と、該撮像部で撮影された角膜内皮画像を基に角膜内皮の測定を行う制御部2と、表示部3とを具備し、前記制御部は前記角膜内皮画像を基に内皮細胞の形状や大きさが特定されたエッジ画像を作成すると共に、二値画像を作成し、前記エッジ画像と前記二値画像を基に各内皮細胞毎に該内皮細胞中のグッタータの割合が予め設定された設定値未満であるかを判定し、該設定値以上と判定された前記内皮細胞をグッタータと判断し、該グッタータと判断された内皮細胞及び前記グッタータ領域に隣接する前記内皮細胞を除外し、除外されなかった内皮細胞を用いて角膜内皮の測定を行い、前記表示部3に測定結果を表示させる。【選択図】図1
