A vermidevice comprises a body with vertical walls, a vermibed and a device to keep worms from crawling away. The device to keep worms from crawling away is made as detachable in the form of a strip from natural or synthetic material, having one or two fleecy or rugged surfaces. The strip may be made both from solid or composite material, different or same, with width from 3 to 20 cm. The strip is fixed as capable of detachment in the upper part along the perimeter of the vermidevice body, in the area of worm cultivation. Fleecy or rugged surfaces of the strip are covered with ash or slaked lime, which irritates worm skin.
